Hellmuth Quietly Makes His Exit

Phil Hellmuth raised from under the gun and then called an opponent's reraise from the button. It was heads up to the {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop, which Hellmuth bet for his last 200. The button made the call and Hellmuth was on the draw.

Hellmuth: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Button: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

The {4-Diamonds} turn was no help to Hellmuth and neither was the {3-Spades}. The "Poker Brat" showed up late and left early.

Chop It Up

We caught up with the action on a {J-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} board where Shawn Buchanan checked from the small blind. Frank Kassela bet from middle position and was check-raised by Buchanan. Not to be deterred, Kassela made it three bets and Buchanan made it four. Once the {K-Hearts} hit the river however, the action slowed down as Kassela only called one Buchanan bet. Buchanan showed {Q-}{J-} for a full house, queens full of jacks on the turn which became full of kings on the river. Kassela too held {Q-}{J-} for the same hand though as the players chopped it up.

Hellmuth Triples Up

We caught up with the action to find Hellmuth all in against two other players with a board of {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Spades}. Noah Boeken who was also in the hand faced a raise on the flop, which he called quickly.

Both players checked the {9-Spades} on the turn. With a {3-Clubs} appearing on the river, Boeken again faced another bet from his aggressor which he called.

Hellmuth showed the table {10-Clubs} {2-Hearts} and was able to win the main pot. The side pot was awarded to the player in late position who held {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs}. Boeken mucked his cards.

Hellmuth has 2,000 in chips.

Clements Clipped

Brock Parker raised from the cutoff and Scott Clements three-bet on the button. The big blind made it four bets to go which got Parker out of the way while Clements stuck around. The big blind led out on the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} flop and Clements called. On the {6-Clubs} turn, the big blind check-called a Clements’ bet. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} river and the big blind turned over {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. Clements showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} before he mucked his hand
