Gavin Hunt raised from under the gun, William Kakon put in thee bets on the button, Hunt made in four bets, and Kakon called. The flop came down {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Hunt led, and Kakon called. The turn was the {2-Clubs}, and Hunt led again. Kakon called.

The river was the {3-Hearts}, and Hunt checked for the first time. Kakon put out a bet, Hunt tank-folded, and Kakon added to his massive stack.

Grizzled Veteran

Action folded to Sam Grizzle in the small blind who made it two bets. Shannon Shorr made it three from the big blind, Grizzle called, and the flop fell {6-Spades}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Grizzle check-called a bet, and the turn brought the {9-Hearts}. Grizzle led this time, and Shorr called.

The river was the {j-Hearts}, and both players checked. Grizzle opened {k-}{7-} for a pair of kings, Shorr mucked, and Grizzle was shipped the pot.

Bonomo Busts Another One

We found Justin Bonomo at Table 277 just a moment ago raising in the cut-off position preflop. He was soon reraised by the Small Blind and after a series of raises the betting was maxed.

On the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{K-Clubs} flop both players continued to raise each other until the Small Blind was all-in. Cards were flipped at it was Bonomo's {J-}{J-} that was ahead. The Small Blind held {9-}{9-} and was looking for another nice to win the pot. A turn {6-} and a river {6-} were no help, and Bonomo eliminated another player.

"Revenge of the Nerds"

Ever playful Sam Grizzle put out a bet preflop on the button and was able to get Shannon Shorr to come along in the big blind. A flop of {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} rolled off and Shorr wasted no time check-raising Grizzle. A bemused Grizzle looked at Shorr and stated "is this revenge of the nerds?" and then went on to make the call.

The {K-Clubs} turn brought another bet from Shorr and a raise from Grizzle. After some contemplation Shorr put out the white flag and folded.
