Kostritsyn's Rivered Flush Felts Negreanu

Level 4 : 400/800, 0 ante

With the blinds at 400/800, Daniel Negreanu min-raised on the button to 1,600 and was reraised to 4,800 by Alexander Kostritsyn. The man they call "Kid Poker" splashed the pot with his all-in move, comitting the last of his initial 25,000 starting stack. Kostritsyn quickly called with {Q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and when Negreanu tabled his {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, the two were off to the races. The flop of {10-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{3-Diamonds} was good for Kostritsyn, who could now catch any Queen, Eight, or Diamond to win the pot. The {3-Clubs} on the turn was safe for Negreanu, but the {4-Diamonds} on the river gave Kostritsyn the flush and reduced Negreanu to his two remaining 25k chip add-ons.
