Dovzhenko Takes Out Buss

Jerry Buss - Eliminated
Jerry Buss - Eliminated

Jerry Buss was all in before fifth street, watching Hernan Novick and Alexander Dovzhenko battling it out for the side pot.

Buss: {X-}{X-}/{10-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{A-Clubs}/{X-}
Dovzhenko: {X-}{X-}/{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}/{X-}
Novick: {X-}{X-}/{J-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

Dovzhenko bet on sixth and seventh street with his pair of sevens showing. Novick called him down, but mucked when Dovzhenko tabled {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for trips. Buss could not beat it either, ending his tournament during the early stages of Level 11.

Brenes: {x-}{x-} / {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {x-}
Wahlbeck: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Hearts} / {x-}

Humberto Brenes bet on fifth street with Ville Wahlbeck and Erick Lindgren both calling before it was checked to Wahlbeck on sixth street and the Finn bet, again getting called twice. On seventh, it was Brenes who checked, Wahlbeck bet and Lindgren made the call, Brenes tanked before making the overcall and Wahlbeck turned over {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a straight to scoop.

Nobody Loves Raymond

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dehkarghani : {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} / {x-}{x-}
Zolotow: {x-}{x-} / {9-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Habib: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{3-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} / {x-}

Raymond Dehkarghani fired a bet out on fifth when it was checked to him, but both Hasan Habib and Steve Zolotow made the call. Dehkarghani then made open deuces and bet again, but was called by the other two again. Dehkarghani fired one last time and Habib called, Zolotow then rechecked his cards before electing to much.

We couldn't make out exactly what Dehkarghani said but he then mucked when Habib flipped {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for two pair which was good.
