Ziyard Takes One From Gyarmati

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

From under the gun Gabor Gyarmati opened for 7,000 and Zimnan Ziyard called along with the player in the small blind. The flop came {4-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {6-Spades} and all three players checked. The turn came {3-Hearts}, the small blind checked, Gyarmati bet 14,000, Ziyard called and the small blind tanked for a short while. He calculated what he could raise but then folded.

The river came {J-Clubs} and both players checked. Gyarmati showed {A-} {4-} for a pair of fours and Ziyard had pocket queens, which took the hand.

One Lonely Row

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

The field has been cut to 35 players across four tables. The Blue section of Amazon Room was crowded earlier with three restarts in just this section.

Gabe Patgorski limped in under the gun and both Jeffrey Lisandro and Dilyan Kovachev completed and checked their options from the blinds.

The flop of {2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} saw Lisandro check and Kovachev push out 6,000. Patgorski called before Lisandro potted the action to 36,000. Kovachev took nearly three minutes before making the call as Patgorski snap-folded before the {6-Spades} landed on the turn.

Lisandro shoved for 51,000 and Kovachev went deep into the tank - eventually having the clock called on him - before six minutes went by and he made the call.

Lisandro: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Kovachev: {Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

With Lisandro needing a jack to stay alive, the river landed the {5-Diamonds} to end his tournament as Kovachev climbs to 220,000 in chips.

Manabe Chips Down

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Andrew Chen opened with a raise to 8,500 only to have Tsubasa Manabe three-bet to 22,000. An unknown player then shipped his final 36,000 into the pot, and when Chen folded, Manabe made the call.

Manabe: {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} to see Manabe double his opponent while slipping to 210,000 in chips.
