Gonsalves Doubles

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Markus Gonsalves found himself all in for just over 300,000 against Brian Lemke.

Gonsalves: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
Lemke: {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The board rolled out {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to see Gonsalves snag top pair with a better kicker to double through to 650,000 as Lemke slips to 790,000 in chips whilst relinquishing the chip lead.

Blumenthal Moves to Second in Chips

Nicholas Blumenthal raised from the cutoff seat to 23,000. Markus Gonsalves reraised from the small blind to make it 58,000 to go. Blumenthal called when action got back to him.

The flop came down {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Gonsalves fired 55,000. Blumenthal made the call to see the {8-Hearts} fall on the turn. Gonsalves checked now and Blumenthal bet 85,000. With 406,000 behind, Gonsalves made the call to see the river.

The river was the {9-Spades} and completed the board. Gonsalves had 321,000 left in his stack and checked to Blumenthal, who had the power of position. Blumenthal bet all in, having Gonsalves covered. Gonsalves tanked for a couple of minutes and then gave it up, allowing Blumenthal to scoop the pot and move to second in chips.

Glantz Gone

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Matt Glantz (from day one)
Matt Glantz (from day one)

Kirill Rabtsov opened to 22,000 from under the gun only to have Matt Glantz move all in for 177,000 from middle position. Rabtsov made the call once the blinds passed as the cards were placed on their backs.

Glantz: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Rabtsov: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Unfortunately for Glantz, the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} board would bring no luck for him as he was bundled to the rail as Rabtsov moves to 385,000 in chips.

One Milli, One Milli, One Milli

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With the board reading {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, Brian Lemke fired out 75,000 and was called by Sergey Rybachenko as the {6-Hearts} landed on the river.

Lemke pushed out a bet of 110,000 and Rybachenko made the call only to muck at the sight of Lemke's {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}.

With that pot, Lemke now moves to 1,095,000 in chips as Rybachenko slips to 575,000 in chips.
