Woods Makes a Flush

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Will Failla raised o 25,000 and Sam Stein called. Failla was in middle position and Stein was in the cutoff seat. Dario Alioto called on the button and then Cory Wood called from the big blind. All four players took the flop of {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} and everyone checked to see the {8-Clubs} land on the turn.

Action checked on fourth street all the way around to Alioto. He bet 60,000. Only Wood made the call and then the dealer placed the {J-Hearts} out on the river. Wood checked and Alioto checked.

Florian Langmann - 34th Place
Florian Langmann - 34th Place

With just Abe Mosseri in the small blind and Florian Langman in big blind left in the hand, both players checked the {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and again both players checked.

The river was the action card though when the {a-Spades} hit. Mosseri checked and Langman fired out 34,000. Mosseri check-raised him all in and Langman made the call. Mosseri tabled {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} which was good enough to win the hand and bust Langmann in 34th place.

Wood Doubles

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

From under the gun, Cory Wood limped before Andy Seth raised to 60,000. It folded back around to Wood who made the call.

The flop was {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Wood check-called all in when Seth bet the pot. Wood held top set with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and was up against the {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} of Seth. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and the river blanked with the {k-Spades} doubling up Wood in the process.
