Tulchinskiy > Ramdin Again

Victor Ramdin: (X)(X) / {k-}{a-}{8-}{9-} / (X)
Mikail Tulchinskiy: (X)(X) / {3-}{a-}{6-}{10-} / (X)

We reached the table on fifth street, where Tulchinskiy bet, and Ramdin called. Ramdin called two more bets on sixth and seventh, then mucked when the Russian opened up {4-}{5-}{5-} for a six-five low.

"You just gunna win my money then give it away?" Shawn Sheikhan cried after the hand. "Is that how it's gunna go?"

Chen Misreads Hand

Dragun: (X)(X) / {7-}{8-}{3-}{J-} / (X)
Chen: (X)(X) / {2-}{A-}{A-}{J-} / (X)

We caught up with the action on fifth where Martin Dragun bet and Tommy Chen called. The action was the same on sixth as well as on seventh until Chen came in with a raise instead of just a call. Dragun went into the tank for quite a while but eventually made the call. Chen confidently turned over his cards which were {7-}{2-}{5-} for a jack-low. Dragun looked confused at first until the dealer announced that Chen did indeed have a jack-low. Dragun then revealed {10-}{4-}{7-} for a ten-low which was good to win the pot. Afterwards, Chen admitted that he misread his cards and must have thought that he had something better, otherwise he might not have bet. Even with that mistake though, his raise nearly worked.

Ramdin Wheeled in by Tulchinskiy

Ramdin: (X)(X) / {8-}{2-}{4-}{9-}
Tulchinskiy: (X)(X) / {J-}{2-}{3-}{2-} / (X)

We only saw the action on the river where Victor Ramdin check-called Mikail Tulchinskiy’s bet. Tulchinskiy revealed {A-}{4-}{5-} for the wheel and the nuts while Ramdin expressed his frustration and mucked.

Verkaik Victorious

Israelashvili: (X)(X) / {A-}{7-}{4-}{5-} / (X)
Verkaik: (X)(X) / {3-}{10-}{4-}{9-} / (X)

We caught up with the action on fifth where Roland Israelashvili bet and Verkaik called. The action was the same on the two remaining streets and Israelashvili turned over {J-}{10-}{6-} for a seven-low. Verkaik turned over {A-}{5-}{6-} however which gave him a six-low and the pot. After the hand, Israelashvili questioned Verkaik’s play of the hand but it didn't matter as Verkaik raked in the chips.

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Matt Grapenthien: (X)(X) / {8-}{2-}{q-}{2-} / (X)
Benjamin Powell: (X)(X) / {4-}{j-}{4-}{7-} / (X)
Tommy Chen: (X)(X) / {8-}{5-}{2-}{5-} / (X)

We reached the table on fourth street, where the players got four bets in, and Grapenthein was all in. Chen led out on fifth and sixth, Powell called both bets, and the two checked on seventh.

Powell opened up {a-}{6-}{3-} for a seven-six, his two opponents mucked, and our resident Zach Galifianakis look-a-like won the pot.

Martin Triples

Rep Porter: (X)(X) / {7-}{a-}{10-}{8-} / (X)
Mikhail Smirnov: (X)(X) / {8-}{q-}{6-}{j-} / (X)
Jesse Martin: (X)(X) / {4-}{k-}{5-}{8-} / (X)

We caught the action on fourth street, where the three players got three bets in - enough to put Martin all in. Porter led out on fifth and sixth, then check-folded on seventh.

Smirnov took the side pot, then opened up {5-}{4-}{3-} for the main. It wasn't good against Martin's {a-}{3-}{6-} though, and Martin tripled up.

Somerville Doubles Through Kwon

We found Jason Somerville all in and at risk with Q-8-6-3-A against Jay Kwon’s 7-7-Q-8-4 on fifth. Somerville hit a {2-} on sixth to give him an eighty-six low which had Kwon drawing dead as Somerville secured the double up.

Victor Ramdin: (X)(X) / {a-}{4-}{7-}{5-} / (X)

We caught the action on fifth street, where PokerStars Team Pro Victor Ramdin bet out. Rutter called, and then called another bet on sixth. Rutter did not call when faced with one last bet on seventh however, and Ramdin picked up the pot.
