Ali Eslami was able to get lucky earlier to at the final table to double up, but his luck has run out, as Eugene Katchalov claimed his second knockout of the final table. Jonathan Spinks brought in, and Eslami completed. Both Katchalov and Spinks called, and the players were off to fourth street. Eslami bet that, and Katchalov was the only caller. On fifth street, Eslami bet, and Katchalov raised enough to put Eslami all in. He called, and showed a pair of queens. Katchalov had a pair of sevens, which improved to two pair on sixth street. Neither player improved on the river, and Eslami was sent to the rail. We are now down to six.

Buchman Misreads his Hand, Claims Chip Lead

Katchalov completed on third street, and Eric Buchman three-bet it with the five showing. Katchalov called, then checked call on fourth and fifth street. Katchalov then bet out when he paired his ten on sixth, and Buchman slowed down and just called. The two checked down seventh street, and Katchalov revealed {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for the pair of tens he had showing. Buchman lifted his cards and started to muck, then stated "I'm sorry I'm sorry I misread my hand" and showed {3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for two pair. Katchalov didn't seem too upset about the mistake, and Buchman dragged the pot to take the lead at 475,000. Katchalov dropped down to 410,000.

Isaia Continutes To Struggle

Alessio Isaia started the day as the chip leader, but he hasn't been able to get anything going all day, as he is now the short stack. In this hand, Dennis Parker completed and Isaia made the call. Isaia bet out on fourth and fifth street, with Parker calling both times. Both players checked sixth street before Isaia bet out on seventh. Parker called fairly quickly, and Isaia simply said "you win" before mucking his hand. Parker showed {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of jacks to take the pot and boost his stack to 190,000, whiel Isaia drops all the way to 72,000.

Lazarou Crippled by Katchalov, Eliminated in 8th Place ($11,301)

Eugene Katchalov has run over the table so far, and his latest victim was Vasili Lazarou. Katchalov completed on third street, and Lazarou called. Eugene then check called on fourth street, before betting out on fifth and sixth streets. Lazarou called before Katchalov bet blind on seventh street for the second time at this final table. Lazarou thought for a few seconds before folding, leaving himself with just one bet.

Lazarou's last bet went in on third street of the next hand, and Katchalov was the only caller, attempting to finish what he had started in the previous hand. Katchalov flipped up two aces, and slowly improved through the hand. First he caught two pair on sixth, then made an unnecessary flush on seventh. Lazarou couldn't beat it, and he was knocked out. Katchalov now has a substantial chip lead, as he is around 505,000 with no one else over 400,000

Aces Good for Spinks

Both players checked the turn, and Parker check called sixth street. Both players checked on seventh, and Spinks revealed {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a pair of aces. Parker studied his hand, then mucked, dropping him to 190,000. Spinks is back up to 270,000 after the hand.

Ali Eslami dipped down to 30,000 in the hand above, where he raised after Jonathan Spinks completed. Eric Buchman put in a fourth bet, and Eslami was the only caller. Buchman then bet on fourth and fifth street, and Eslami called on fourth before tanking on fifth. Eslami thought for so long that Buchman called the clock. Eslami released his hand, and was hurting.

His fortunes turned on the next hand, where Alessio Isaia completed with a king showing, and Eslami three-bet with the ace of spades showing. Isaia called, then caught another king on fourth. The players got the money, and Eslami was drawing thin as Isaia had caught three kings to his aces. Neither player improved until seventh street, where Eslami slammed the {a-Hearts} on the table. Isai was unable to improve, and Eslami caught his card to double up.

Eslami is back up to 80,000, and Isaia drops down to 140,000.
