Paul "paulgees81" Volpe has catapulted up the counts to challenge for the chip lead. He's won a couple of nice-sized pots over the last few orbits. The latest came in which a player raised from middle position, got one caller behind, and Volpe called as well from the small blind with . The flop was a nice one for Volpe -- -- the nut flush and a draw to the nut low. Eventually he would get the original raiser to commit all of his chips with for a worse flush and the same low draw, and would manage to scoop when no low came.
Michael Moore busted and vaulted Igor Trafane toward the chip lead in this last hand.
Moore raised it up to 14,000 and Trafane re-raised pot to 48,000. Moore made the call with only about 20,000 left behind and the two saw the flop. Moore thought for a little bit then pushed his final 20,000 in with an insta-call from Trafane.

The turn and river came and and the straight on the river with no low gave Trafane the knockout. Moore could only sit there in shock and he was escorted off to get paid as Trafane moved up to 230,000 and second in chips
We found Alexander Dovzhenko all in preflop for around 70,000 against Matthw Ezrol.

Both players had aces but when the flop rolled out , Ezrol made the wheel and at worst he would win three quarters of the pot. The on the turn secured the entire pot for Ezrol as he leapt up the leaderboard while Dovzhenko was eliminated.

Kathy Liebert had just scored that double-up with aces a few hands previously. Soon after she found a couple of aces in her hand again, but this time the result was less fortunate. Players were still reacting a hand later to what had happened, and we received the story from one as follows.
After Marco Oliveira opened for 11,000, Liebert reraised to 36,000 and Oliveira called. The flop came with two hearts, and the pair subsequently got the rest of Liebert's chips in the middle. Liebert held for top set, while Oliveira had for top two and a jack-high flush draw.
The flush came, the board didn't pair and Liebert is out, adding yet another WSOP cash to her impressive resume. Meanwhile, Oliveira adds a number of chips to his impressive stack. He's up around 255,000 at present
David ‘Doc’ Sands raised to 11,500 and Diego Herrera re-raised to 40,500. Sands pushed all in and Herrera called which put him all in for around 60,000 total.

Sands was in commanding lead for the knockout which he accomplished when the board ran out for his aces to hold up.
Alex Outhred raised it up to 9,500 and Marco Oliveira re-raised the pot. Oliveira asked the dealer how much the pot was and the dealer mistakenly said 19,000. Outhred said, "Ok I call 19." The dealer then quickly dealt out a flop of but the players at the table then stopped the action because the dealer had incorrectly told them how much the pot was. After reevaluation, they figured out it was actually 31,500 and they called the floor over. They ruled that the old flop would be pulled back and shuffled into the deck. Then, Outhred would have to keep his 19,000 from the original call out there and Oliveira would have to put out 31,500 with Outhred having the option to call.
Outhred called and the two players saw a new flop of Outhred moved all in and got a call from Oliveira.

The turn came to give Oliveira a flush and the river officially sent Outhred to the rail.
Roch Cousineau had been near the top of our counts recently, though he's lost a few chips of late to come back to the pack. Just now he raised from the hijack seat for 12,000 and it folded around to Kathy Liebert in the big blind. Liebert checked her cards and without too much hesitation announced she was reraising all in for 49,000. Cousineau thought a short while, then called.
Cousineau had , but Liebert had woken up in the big blind with . The board came , giving Liebert a wheel for a timely scoop. She's up around 100,000 now, while Cousineau has dropped to 93,000.
