Maureen Merdinger - Eliminated in 17th Place

We caught up with the action on a {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, where Maureen Merdinger went all in from the big blind for about 40,000. She was instantly called by her lone opponent - Amanda Sizemore.

Sizemore: {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Merdinger: {7-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The {Q-Spades} turn and {4-Diamonds} river failed to improve Merdinger's hand and she was sent home $7,064 richer.

Sizemore is up to 245,000.

Deborah Worley-Roberts - Eliminated in 19th place.

We caught up with the action on a {7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, where a short-stacked Deborah Worley-Roberts and Marsha Wolak were getting it all into the middle.

Worley-Roberts: {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Wolak: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The {K-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river were no help to Worley-Roberts and her tournament life came to an end.

Wolak is up to 250,000.

Xiu Deng Eliminated in 20th Place ($5,810)

Xiu Deng - Eliminated in 20th Place

Xiu Deng has just been eliminated in the space of two hands to bring the field down to 19 players.

Earlier, Amanda Sizemore open-shoved from the UTG +1 position and the action folded around to Deng who snap-called out of the big blind holding {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, well ahead of Sizemore's {A-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Sizemore got some help on the flop of {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and even more when the {6-Spades} came down on the turn. To Sizemore's delight, the {10-Spades} binked on the river and after the chips were cut down, Deng was left with only 1,000, forcing her all-in on the small blind in the very next hand.

Marina Kolbeshkina then proceeded to open-shove from early position with {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and the others got out of the way before Deng tabled {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {4-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Deng was sent to the cage to collect $5,810 in prize money.

Kelly Jensen - Eliminated in 21st place.
Kelly Jensen - Eliminated in 21st place.

We missed the exact preflop action but Valerie McColligan and Kelly Jensen ended up getting all in. McColligan had Jensen covered.

McColligan: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Jensen: {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and McColligan's pair of nines were good enough to scoop the pot and send Jensen to the rail.

McColligan is up to 470,000.

Irina Batorevich Eliminated in 22nd Place ($5,810)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The action folded around to Irina Batorevich who raised all-in from the button with {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, but she was snapped off from the big blind by Carol Tomlinson who had {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

The flop of {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds} kept Tomlinson ahead, but Batorevich caught a glimmer of hope on the turn of the {7-Diamonds}. Sadly, the {4-Hearts} bricked on the river and Batorevich is busto. Tomlinson is now up to 240,000 in chips.

Christy Cranford Eliminated in 23rd Place ($5,810)

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Christy Cranford - Eliminated in 23rd place.
Christy Cranford - Eliminated in 23rd place.

Christy Cranford held the chip lead just a couple of hours ago, but she lost a few big pots and has just been eliminated in another big pot. Karen Fisher came in for a raise to 12,000 in early position, and Cranford called in middle position. Everyone else folded, and they both checked a flop of {2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. The turn came the {4-Diamonds}, and Fisher checked to Cranford, who bet out 12,000. Fisher called, and when the river came the {k-Clubs}, Fisher instantly moved all in.

Cranford tanked for two minutes, then asked the dealer if she could show her hand to try to get a read on her opponent. The floor was called over, and she was told that she would receive a penalty if she did. Cranford didn't, and after another minute or so, she called and showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Fisher showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a rivered pair of kings, and she took down the monster pot to boost her up to 280,000.
