Deeb Scoops

Stud-8

Jon Turner: (X)(X) / {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}{K-Diamonds} / (X)
Doug Booth (X)(X) / {2-Spades}{A-Spades}{9-Hearts} - FOLDED
Shaun Deeb: (X)(X) / {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{K-Spades} / (X)

We picked up the action on fourth where Booth led and Turner and Deeb called. Then Deeb picked up the betting on fifth, with Turner sticking around and Booth bowing out. The remaining pair checked thereafter, with Deeb showing {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a seven-low and pair of fives -- good enough both ways, as Turner mucked.

Level 17

Stud

Ben Lamb: (X)(X) / {4-Clubs} - fold
Rami Boukai: (X)(X) / {A-Diamonds} - fold
Roman Yitzhaki: (X)(X) / {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} - fold
Valdimir Shchemelev: (X)(X) / {K-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Ben Lamb brought in with the {4-Clubs} showing and action moved to Rami Boukai. He completed and then Roman Yitzhaki called. Vladimir Shchemelev raised and action folded back to Yitzhaki. He called.

On fourth street, Yitzhaki called a bet from Shchemelev, but couldn't call a bet on fifth when Shchemelev when he picked up an open pair of kings.

Chips for Chen

Stud-8

Three-way action on Table 286.

Yan Chen: (X)(X) / {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} / (X)
Scott Seiver: (X)(X) / {7-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / (X)
Jon Turner: (X)(X) / {2-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} / (X)

We picked up the betting on fifth street where it checked to Chen who bet and both Seiver and Turner called. The three followed the same sequence on both sixth and seventh, with Turner checking, Chen betting, and both Seiver and Turner calling.

At showdown, Chen turned over {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a jack-high flush and no low, and both of his opponents mucked, Seiver saying he'd made a ten-high flush as he did.

Omaha-8

From middle position, Jason Lester raised. Sebastian Ruthenberg called from the button and Vladimir Shchemelev called from the big blind to see the flop come out {K-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Shchemelev bet out and Lester called. Ruthenberg also called to keep all three players in to see fourth street.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and now the board was eligible for a low. Shchemelev checked and Lester bet. Ruthenberg made the call and Shchemelev called as well.

The {2-Clubs} landed on the river and Shchemelev bet out. Lester called and Ruthenberg called. Time for the hands.

Shchemelev showed the {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} for an eight-high straight and a seven-six low. Lester showed the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} for the nut low. Ruthenberg tabled the {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for the same nut low. Shchemelev won half of the pot with his straight while Ruthenberg and Lester got a quarter with the same nut low.
