Doc Sands Sinks The Double

Action folded to Spencer Cossette in middle position, and he made it 33,000 to go. Everyone got out of the way until David "DocSands" Sands, who shipped the rest of his stack in from the big blind. Cossette asked for a count, and after finding out it was for 376,000, he made the call.

Cossette: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Sands: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Sands was in great shape to double up, and the flop would end up hitting both players, coming {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Sands flopped top set, but Cossette picked up a gutshot straight draw. The turn came the {6-Hearts}, and Sands would just have to sweat a jack on the river. That card came the {8-Hearts}, and Sands scored the double up to get himself to just under 800,000.
