Hand #115: Ben Lamb

Level 39 : 500,000/1,000,000, 150,000 ante

Pius Heinz had the button. Under the gun, Matt Giannetti raised to 2.2 million, and Ben Lamb three-bet to 6 million. Once again, the aggression worked, and Lamb's reraise earned him the pot.

The man they call Benba, the 2011 WSOP Player of the Year, has turned up the aggression here as the table has been reduced to four.

Ben Lamb had the button.

While 2011 World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Allen Bari was in the middle of getting thrown out of the Penn & Teller Theatre for foul language, Pius Heinz raised to 2.1 million. Matt Giannetti called from the big blind and the flop came down {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the turn brought the {9-Diamonds}. Giannetti bet 2.8 million and Heinz folded.
