Two Pair for Jean-Robert

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Hayden Fortini opened with a raise to 23,000 from the cutoff seat, and Jean-Robert Bellande defended his big blind. The flop came {3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and another check from Bellande. Fortini bet 27,000 this time, and Bellande promptly check-raised to 85,000. Fortini called.

The river brought the {7-Diamonds}. Bellande set out a column of orange chips -- a bet of 120,000 -- and Fortini went into the tank. He tumbled chips in his hand while Bellande sat silently, the brim of his cap pulled down to cover his eyes.

Finally, after a couple of minutes, Fortini made the call. Bellande flipped over his cards, showing {10-Spades}{4-Spades} for two pair, and Fortini mucked.

Bellande bumps back up to 1.152 million, while Fortini falls to 112,000.
