Negreanu Continues to Slide

Brandon Adams raised from early position and received a call from Daniel Negreanu in the cutoff. Dan Martin then reraised to 6,800 from the button, Adams folded, and Negreanu made the call.

When the flop came down {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, both players checked and watched the {8-Spades} hit the turn. Negreanu bet 4,500 and Martin made the call, leading to the {8-Clubs} on the river. This time Negreanu check-folded to a 15,000 Martin bet.

Don't Sign It Quite Yet

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

We found this all in on the flop of {2-Hearts} {K-Spades} {10-Spades} between Barry Greenstein and Masa Kagawa. Greenstein tabled {A-Spades} {8-Spades} for the nut flush draw, and Kagawa had top pair with {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. The turn and river bricked for Greenstein when it came {2-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}.

Greenstein picked up his copy of "Ace on the River" and started signing it. The dealer counted down Kagawa's stack and realized that Greenstein had 1,800 left. Greenstein made some more notes in the book before stacking his chips.

Nichols' River Bet Gets It Done

Grayson Nichols raised to 2,300 from early position and received a single call from Daniel Negreanu on the button. When the flop fell {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Nichols led out for 3,600, Negreanu called, and the dealer burned and turned the {3-Hearts}.

Both players proceeded to check and watched as the {K-Clubs} rolled off on the river. Nichols decided to bet 7,100 and Negreanu conceded the hand.
