Turner Slips

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Sadan Turker popped it up to 165,000 from the small blind and Jon Turner defended his big as the flop fell {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn of the {10-Clubs} saw Turner take the lead with a bet of 170,000, which Turker check-called as the {2-Diamonds} rolled off on the river.

Both players checked and after Turner tabled his {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}, Turker tabled his {A-Spades}{7-Spades} to take the pot and move over the 6,300,000-chip mark.

Jon Turner opened to 135,000 from under the gun only to have Max Weinberg move all in for 655,000.

Turner deliberated for nearly a minute before flicking his cards to the muck to relinquish the pot to Weinberg.

Sadan Turker opened to 115,000 only to have Jon Turner three-bet to 255,000 from the button.

Turker made the call before check-calling 320,000 on the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop before Turner fired another bullet of 360,000 when the turn landed the {k-Hearts}. Turker made the call, and when the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river, he would be faced with a bet of 1,200,000.

Turker went deep into the tank for nearly three minutes before eventually making the call.

"Good call!" stated Turner as he mucked when shown the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} of Turker.
