Cada Accumulating Chips

Joe Cada
Joe Cada

The 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada raised to 3,500 preflop and one of the bigger stacks at his table shoved out a three-bet to 10,000. It folded back to Cada and he dipped into his large stack of yellow T1,000 chips.

Cada moved out a four-bet to 21,000 into the middle and his opponent tanked for about a minute.

"Nice bet," said Cada's opponent, throwing his hand away. Cada showed the {10-Clubs} to the table before raking in the pot.

Cada Can't Call River

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

We found 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada raise from middle position to 3,500. Action folded to the player in the big blind who flicked calling chips off of his stack.

The dealer showed the two a flop of {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {5-Clubs} came on fourth street and Cada's opponent fired 3,800 into the middle. Cada quickly called and the river brought the {J-Diamonds}. Cada's opponent opted to bet once again, this time putting 5,900 in the middle. Cada shook his head and threw away his hand, awarding the pot to his opponent.

Cada is sitting on a stack of roughly 78,000.
