Cada Accumulating Chips

Joe Cada
Joe Cada

The 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada raised to 3,500 preflop and one of the bigger stacks at his table shoved out a three-bet to 10,000. It folded back to Cada and he dipped into his large stack of yellow T1,000 chips.

Cada moved out a four-bet to 21,000 into the middle and his opponent tanked for about a minute.

"Nice bet," said Cada's opponent, throwing his hand away. Cada showed the {10-Clubs} to the table before raking in the pot.

JayBone Rises

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

When we last checked in with Jack King aka JayBone, we found him facing a raise to 5,000 from Ray "Exitonly4" Coburn. King shipped in his remaining 20,400 and Coburn called with {A-}{K-}. Unfortunately for Coburn, however, he was far behind the {A-}{A-} of King.

The aces were able to hold and and King was able to score a double. He is currently sitting on a stack of about 49,000.

JayBone came to Las Vegas with only $2,000 in his pocket and recently chopped one of the $235 Rio Daily Deepstacks for $21,000. Now, after entering and cashing in his first World Series of Poker event, he looks to go even deeper and grasp hold of the first place prize. His rail on the PocketFives OT forum, like him, has a sense of humor and enjoying trolling JayBone on his quest for WSOP glory.

Queens Again For Collopy

Jim Collopy
Jim Collopy

After doubling through Bernard Lee earlier with pocket queens, Jim Collopy has just eliminated a player holding pocket queens again.

Action folded to Collopy in the cutoff and he raised 4,000. The player on the button three-bet to 10,400, but Collopy came back over the top with a four-bet. Before we could make out the amount, the player on the button five-bet shoved for roughly 40,000.

A call from Collopy revealed {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, well ahead of his opponent's {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to give Collopy the pot.

He's got a mountain of chips, not the easiest to count, so we'll give him a safe 200,000 for now until we can get a better look.

Forrest Fire

With the board reading {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} a player checked to Ted Forrest who bet out 4,000. His opponent opted to check-raise, however, making it 10,200. Forrest called and the {6-Hearts} completed the board.

Forrest's opponent checked over to him and Forrest counted out a bet of 11,000. Forrest's opponent made the call but mucked his hand when Forrest tabled {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for tens full of deuces.

By dragging in this pot, Forrest has boosted his stack to about 70,000.
