George Rakes in Another

Stud-8

George Danzer has continued his rise up the chip counts, managing to overcome Lori Berumen during the follow hand.

Danzer: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} / {x-}
Berumen: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} / {x-}

We arrived at the table on fourth street, with Danzer throwing out a bet and with plenty of chips already in the pot. On sixth, Danzer again bet and this time Berumen let her hand go, leaving hereself with around 12,000.

Nicholson No More

Jeffrey Lisandro just busted David Nicholson in a hand of Seven Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better. Nicholson couldn't crack Lisandro's aces, and was eliminated.

Also joining Nicholson on the rail are Salim Hanna, and Martin Knorr.

Dickstein Loses One After Dinner

Omaha-8

We arrived at Table 447 and a {10-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} flop was showing, with four people still involved in the hand. Daniel Fuhs led, the next player to act folded, Yuval Bronshtein folded and Mark Dickstein called.

On the {7-Spades} turn, Fuhs bet and Dickstein tank called. The {9-Clubs} on the river and Fuhs again bet. Dickstein again went into the tank, this time even apologizing to the table. Eventually he called and Fuhs tabled {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, with the flopped broadway straight enough to take the pot away from Dickstein.

Micon Gone

When we reached the table, the board read {j-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Micon was all in with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}, and David Chiu had him at risk with {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The {k-Diamonds} on the river was no help to Micon, and he was eliminated.

Danzer and Davis Chip Up

Stud-8

Raymond Davis is doing far better than a few hours ago, thanks in part to picking up a few chips in this hand with George Danza and one other opponent.

Davis: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} / {x-}
Danzer: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {x-}
Opponent: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}

When we arrived at the table, it was on fifth street and Danzer was being the aggressor, as he was on sixth and seventh. Both Davis and the other player called every street and it was on to showdown. Danzer held {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, enough for a seventy-four low and two-pair. Davis held {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades} for trips and no low, while the other player mucked. And with that, David and Danzer split the other player's chips.
