Antonius was in great shape to double, however, the board left Everett with a set of treys for the knockout.

With the board reading , a player in the hijack seat bet 12,500, Mazin Khoury called from the button, and a third player in early position folded. That made the pot about 40,000 when the landed on the turn, prompting a check from Khoury's opponent. He fired 18,500, and Khoury's opponent went into the tank.
"Hey what happened to the screen?" asked one player of a passing staff member as all waited. He was alluding to the board showing how many players are left. Apparently it is about to be restored. "They're about 68 left," the player was informed.
"Tell me when there's 10," he answered with a laugh. "I think you'll know," said Kevin Elia, presently still among the leaders in chips.
Finally Khoury's opponent called, then both checked the river. Khoury watched his opponent turn over for tens, and Khoury mucked.

The wasn't good for Tehan, and it didn't get any better with the turn and river, giving Robinson trips. Tehan picks up his eighth cash of this World Series of Poker, but he wasn't happy on his way to the cashier.

We came upon this hand as the flop was being dealt, with subsequent action (and conversation) suggesting Keven "Stamdogg" Stammen had limped in from the button, and Alex Rivera in the big blind checked. The pair then both checked the flop.
The turn was the , and Rivera bet 8,000. "You can fold," he said to Stammen, who declined the advice and called. The river was the and Rivera checked once more. Again, he encouraged Stammen to check, then after Stammen bet 23,000, he commented at length about how big the bet was before he called.
Stammen showed for a straight. Rivera then turned over for the same straight and they chopped. "Thought you were going to show up with there," said Stammen. "After you gave that speech."
For Stammen's part, he's mostly letting his chips do the talking as he continues to maintain a top 10 stack.

We caught up with the action on a flop in a heads-up pot featuring Amnon Filippi and one other player.
Filippi checked from the big blind and his opponent fired 10,000 from under-the-gun. Filippi responded by check-raising all in and his opponent called all in for 56,000.
Filippi: for a flush draw.
Opponent: for a pair of jacks.
The turn and river bricked out for Filippi and his opponent doubled through - knocking Filippi down to 75,000 in the process.

Today saw Jackie Glazier nearly become the second woman to win a WSOP bracelet this summer, falling just one step shy with a runner-up finish in Event 41: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em, won by Greg Ostrander. Glazier was hoping to join Allyn Jaffrey Shulman as a bracelet winner after her triumph in Event 29: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship.
In our event just 80 players remain, with three women among them. Maya Antonius has been nursing a short stack for most of the afternoon, and presently sits with 33,000. Kathy Saraf has 44,500 at present, just a bit below the stack with which she started the day. And Anke Berner has done well through day's four levels, having started the day with just 7,600 and built up to 95,500 as we return for Level 16.
