The action got capped on third street after which Gipson was all in on fourth. Gipson ended up with a seven-five low while Hellmuth made a seven-four. We are now down to 48 players.
Luke Schwartz was just put in a very tough spot against John Monnette on the final hand before their table broke. The flop read and Schwartz bet 32,000. Monnette put out a big raise to 175,000 and Schwartz went into the tank.
While leaning back in his chair Schwartz thought about it for several minutes, and ended up offering Monnette $300 to see his hand. Schwartz later lowered that offer to $200, but when the floor came over he ruled against this.
"You cannot even give him money, a rose or even an orange," the floor said to Schwartz who finally had the clock called on him. Schwartz folded his cards and Monnette turned over his , for free. Schwartz said something along the lines that he had a similar hand, as Monnette added some more chips to his stack.
Danny Fuhs raised from under the gun and found only one caller, who was Keith Gipson acting out of the small blind. The flop came down and Gipson checked. Fuhs bet and Gipson called.
On the turn, Gipson checked and Fuhs bet. Gipson gave it up after a few seconds and Fuhs won the pot. He showed for a set of threes and an ace-four low draw.
Tom Chambers was just all in for his final 16,300 and both Viktor Blom and Michael Binger decided to call.
The flop came down , Binger bet, Blom raised and Binger called. The turn was the and Binger check-called. The river was the and Binger check-called again.
Blom tabled and scooped the pot against Binger's and Chambers' .
Ali Eslami completed it on third street, Phil Hellmuth raised and Eslami called. Hellmuth ended up betting every street, and Eslami folded on seventh street.
Michael Mizrachi just took down a pot without showdown, beating David Chiu and David Oppenheim in a Stud pot.
