Table 404

Counts

Eliminated in the Money

Selbst Over 200K

Pot-Limit Omaha

We reached the table with the board reading {6-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Can Hua checked, Vanessa Selbst fired 8,000, and Hua check-raised to 22,000. Selbst tanked for a bit, then grabbed two stacks of yellow T1,000 chips, re-rasing to 58,000. Hua tanked for less than thirty seconds, then folded.

Selbst looked at her cards, and tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

"I folded a six," Vincent van der Fluit announced.

"So did I," Selbst returned, grinning.

Noah Boeken Eliminated

Noah Boeken
Noah Boeken

Pot-Limit Omaha

Noah Boeken just got his last chips into the pot against fellow countrymen Vincent van der Fluit. Boeken got all in pre flop for his final 25,000 chip and this was the following showdown.

Noah Boeken{J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Vincent van der Fluit{A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Spades} giving Van der Fluit the winning hand, and that puts him up on top again.

Unhappy Call Works Out For Mackey

Omaha-8

James Mackey was under the gun when he raised, and the action got folded to Marco Traniello who called in the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{J-Spades} and Traniello check-called 4,000. The turn was the {2-Hearts} and now he check-called 8,000. The river was the {9-Clubs} and now Traniello lead out for 8,000.

Mackey was far from happy, but after about five seconds he called. Traniello showed {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, but that was no good against Mackey's {A-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Hua Gets Half, Boeken and Dipace Take a Quarter

Omaha-8

Vanessa Selbst was under the gun and raised it up and Noah Boeken called immediately to her left. Julien Dipace called from the button and Can Kim Hua defended his big blind giving us four-way action on the flop.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and the action was checked. The turn was the {8-Spades} and Hua lead out, all players called.

The river brought out the {6-Clubs}, which completed the low draw. The action was checked to Dipace who bet, and both Boeken and Hua called.

Dipace tabled {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} for the nut low and a straight. For a second he thought that was good for both sides, but then Hua turned over {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flush. Boeken showed {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and chopped the low with Dipace who was pretty frustrated with not getting at least half the pot.
