A player in middle position made it 450 to see a flop, and action folded around to Dutch Boyd in the cut-off who made the call. Todd Terry also came along from the big blind.
The flop came and Terry was the first to check. The middle position player bet out 1,000 and Boyd raised it up to 2,150. Terry in the big blind folded and action was back to the initial raiser who took his time before placing a call.
The on the turn saw a check from the middle position player and a bet of 3,000 from Boyd. The middle position player moved all in and Boyd snap called.

Boyd had the lead with the flush, but any spade, king, or jack would steal it away from him. The on the river finalized it and Boyd's opponent was sent packing.
Another person no longer with us is Randy Lew. We don't know exactly what happened, but we saw this tweet and noticed his seat had a new player.

A handful of tables away Paul Magriel was calling a raise of 600 from the big blind. The flop came and both players opted to check.
The on the turn allowed for Magriel to bet out 1,800. A fold was made and Magriel showed off .

Two main stories from the red section of the Brasilia Room and they both emanate from Table 67. Our first piece of news is a great start for Chris De Maci. It's been a great series for De Maci who picked up $316,308 for his runner-up spot in Event #34: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha - Six-Handed. Here he is proving he can play with 2 cards as well as 4.
De Maci opened the betting for 450, 1 opponent three-bet to 1,050 and De Maci made the call. The flop was and De Maci called a 875 bet from his opponent. The turn card was the and De Maci's opponent check-raised all-in and De Maci made the call.

So it was a king or nothing for De Maci's opponent and the was nowhere near regal enough. De Maci moves up to 20,000.
Then a few hands later and we notice Maya Antonius twiddling on her phone as she exited the Brasilia Room. We dashed back to her table and Chris De Maci very kindly furnished us with the following information.
There was a raise to 450 and one caller before Antonius moved all-in for 3825 holding . The initial raiser folded but the caller made the call holding (suited). A queen on the flop and then an ace on the river putting an end to the hopes of Mrs Antonius.
Other players loving life in red are Irish Open Champions Kevin Vandersmissen (15k) and Neil Channing (13k), European Poker Tour (EPT) and World Poker Tour (WPT) champion Andrey Pateychuk (17k), the one and only Chris Moorman (17k) and leading the pack Koen de Visscher (25k).

Faraz Jaka raised it up to 450 from the hijack and found a callers in the cut-off and the big blind.
The flop came and the big blind started the action off with a check. Jaka bet out 800, and the cut-off called. The big blind folded and the two remaining players went to the turn.
The on fourth street saw another bet from Jaka, this time for 1,400. Again a call was made by the cut-off.
The on the river wasn't going to slow Jaka down, and we saw him fire off 3,600. The cut-off immoderately called, and Jaka mucked his cards instantly. The cut-off showed for three of a kind aces and took down the pot.

We don't know the exact details of the bet, but apparently someone bet Jason Koon he couldn't handstand his way from his seat out the door here in the Brasilia room. Koon accepted the bet and the whole room was witness to Koon walking on his hands toward the door.
With a lot of "ooohs" and "ahhs" Koon made his way toward the door, feet in the air. Only faltering a few times Koon picked up his stride and made it through the door.
Koon made it back to his seat where a couple of hundreds were waiting for him for winning the bet.
Here is Adam Levy's two cents.
Roothlus Adam Levy It appears @JasonKoon stopped play for about 10 seconds in the Brasilia Room so he could walk on his hands for 20 ft. #truestory #awesome

A quick waltz through the Bronze Section shows online super computer Randy Lew leading the notables with 13,000. Just one table over from him and Mohsin Charania is in deep conversation with a lady at his table.
"Didn't you just win $2 million or something?" She asked Charania.
"Nah…1.8," said Charania.
Charania is currently sat on 3,400 although we did see him scrape in a small pot as we walked by.
Table 52 looks a little meat meaty with the likes of two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Dutch Boyd, two-time WSOP final tablist Todd Terry & multiple WSOP final tablist Marco Traniello.
"Twelve point six," said Boyd.
"Four-eighty-five," said Todd.
Traniello looked up and decided not to shout out his count, which was 1,6000!
Two other players managing just fine are WSOP bracelet holder Joey Weissman (10k) and Chris "NigDawG" Brammer (12k).
There are 1,897 players left from a field of 3,221 and the average stack is around 5,000.

A recent walk through of the silver and gold sections lead to Bryan Micon's table where he was getting involved in a hand.
Micon raised it up to 400 preflop from the hijack, and managed to get a caller in the cut-off player. The rest of the table folded and it was two to the flop. The dealer spread three cards and they came , both players checked and it was off to the turn.
The on fourth street saw Micon bet out 550 and the cut-off immediately move all in, a bet that would put the shorter stacked Micon all in. Micon went into the tank for a few moments, and came out of it thinking a call was the best option. He plopped his chips in the middle and flipped over . Micon's opponent countered by flipping over for a flopped straight. Micon now needed a queen for a chop pot, but alas he received no such luck as the rolled off the deck for the river.
A section away Darryl Fish was three-betting to 1,200 after his short stacked opponent made it 450 preflop. The table folded around and Fish's opponent moved all in for 2,600. Fish made the call, and was in for some bad news.
