From under the gun, Antonio Esfandiari raised to 190,000. Guy Laliberté called from the big blind and the flop came down . Laliberté checked and Esfandiari bet 225,000. Laliberté called.

Sam Trickett celebrated his birthday yesterday by playing Day 1 of this event. Today he's back to win more chips, and on the break he got a beautiful birthday cake delivered to him. He also managed to win a big pot by putting in a cold four-bet preflop.
Dan Shak raised under the gun to 185,000 and Brandon Steven made the call from the hijack. Ben Lamb was in the cutoff and he put in a three-bet to 600,000. Sam Trickett was in the big blind and he took his time before four-betting to 1,325,000.
Shak tanked for a solid minute before folding after which Steven mucked his cards right away. Lamb enquired how much Trickett had left behind, but he needed only ten seconds to fold his hand.
Trickett added over a million to his stack and is looking very healthy as we keep losing players left and right.
On the button, David Einhorn raised to 180,000 and Phil Ivey called from the big blind. The flop came down and both players checked. The turn was the and Ivey bet 275,000. Einhorn called.
After the fell on the river, Ivey checked and Einhorn bet 400,000. Ivey tanked and then mucked his hand, dropping back to 1.455 million in chips. Einhorn moved to over 5.5 million.
On the button, Antonio Esfandiari raised to 200,000. Mikhail Smirnov called from the small blind and Jason Mercier reraised to 640,000 from the big blind. Esfandiari and Smirnov both folded and Mercier won the pot.
