Split-Pot Games

Joseph Cheong raised to open the pot at the new level, and Fabrizio Baldassari reraised to 35,000. Cheong likes to re-re-raise as much as any player we've seen, and he made the four-bet to 75,000. Baldassari flatted this time, and off they went.

The dealer flopped {K-Spades} {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} out on board, and both men checked. Cheong got bets in on the next two streets, though. It was 70,000 on the {2-Spades} turn and 145,000 after the {2-Hearts} rivered. Baldassari called him down, and the cards were on their backs.

Showdown
Baldassari: {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts}
Cheong: {A-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}

Chop it up, fellas.
