Once Around With Jason Mercier
We followed Team PokerStars Pro and two-time WSOP gold bracelet winner Jason Mercier for one orbit around the table. Follow along as we watch him enter a majority of the pots and dictate the action of his table.
Hand #1: Jason Mercier started in late position and raised to 1,200. It folded to the player in the big blind who pushed out a three-bet to 3,600. Mercier called

and Mercier's opponent continued out for 3,200. Mercier contemplated for a moment before making the call. Fourth street brought the 
and Mercier's opponent fired again, this time making it 4,500. Mercier opted to call once again.

and Mercier's opponent's hands shook as he pushed out a stack of 8,525. Mercier immediately announced all in as the chips were slid into the center, and his opponent reluctantly mucked his cards.
Hand #2: Action folded to Mercier and he raised to 1,200. His opponent from the previous hand called out of the small blind. The flop came 
. Mercier's opponent checked and Mercier continued with a bet of 1,350.
His opponent announced a raise to 3,800 and Mercier responded by moving him all in. His opponent called and the hands were exposed:

Mercier managed to felt his opponent in two back to back hands, allowing his stack to grow to 58,000.
Hand #3 Mercier opened the action to 1,200 and received one call. Another player moved his stack all in and both Mercier and the caller folded their hands.
Hand #4 Action folded around to Mercier who also folded his cards.
Hand #5 From early position, Mercier raised to 1,200 and the player in the cutoff called. The two players were heads up to see a flop of 
. Mercier bet 1,175 only to find his opponent make it 3,800 to go. Mercier called and fourth street brought the

Hand #6: Mercier was under the gun and folded his hand preflop.
Hand #7: A middle position player opened to 1,200 and Mercier folded from the big blind.
Hand #8: Action folded around to PokerStars Team Online Pro Mickey Petersen who raised to 1,200 from the button. Mercier moved out a three-bet to 3,250 and both the big blind and Petersen quickly mucked their cards.
Hand #9: Action folded around to Mercier on the button who opted to folded his hand.
Hand #10: A middle position player raised to 1,200 only to find Mickey Petersen re-raise to 2,700. Mercier folded.
Stack at Orbit's End: 38,000
Mercier was able to boost his stack to one of the biggest in the room with the destruction of one of his opponents in the first two hands of this orbit. Unfortunately for Mercier, he lost a nice chunk of those newly found chips a few hands later when he ran the second nuts into the nuts.
