John Racener raised to 6,000 from middle position and received a call from James Manning, who left himself just 3,500 behind. Manning was no doubt hoping to entice others into the pot, but he got no takers and the button and both blinds folded.
"You can bet dark and I'll put it in," Manning told Racener. There was no response. The dealer then burned and put out the 
flop, at which point Racener put out a bet. Manning called off.

. Racener spiked a set to take a commanding lead. Manning was out of his seat and prepared to make his exit, which he made in 75th place when the 
blanked on the river.
