Ethier Euthanized by Beaudoin

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Dale Beaudoin raised to 12,000 only to have a short-stacked Dennis Ethier three-bet to 18,000. Can Kim Hua made the call from the button, Beaudoin put in the extra 6,000 and it was three-way action to the {5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop.

Beaudoin was first to act and bet, prompting Ethier to put in a raise. Hua got out of the way and Beaudoin put in a reraise. Ethier only had 2,000 back and called off.

Ethier: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Beaudoin: {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The {8-Clubs} turn was disaster for Either as it gave Beaudoin trip eights and the nut low. The {9-Hearts} river failed to help Either and he was sent to the rail in 36th place, good for $6,995.
