Hua Takes Two from McNeil

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Can Kim Hua started the action by raising on the button, and both Calen McNeil and Todd Brunson made the call. The flop came down {10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}, and everyone checked around. The {7-Diamonds} hit the turn, and McNeil led out. Brunson folded, but Hua made the call. The river was the {3-Clubs}, and Hua made the call. McNeil revealed just an {a-} and {j-} in his hand for ace high, and Hua rolled over {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens and the win.

On the next hand, McNeil raised it up, and Hua came along from the big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and Hua check called a bet from McNeil. The turn brought the {4-Diamonds}, and this time, Hua pulled a check raise. McNeil called, and he also called after Hua led out on the {5-Diamonds} river. Hua showed {k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped full house, and McNeil toss his hand in.

After taking those two pots, Hua has virtually tied himself with McNeil at the top of the leader board.
