McNeil Take First Big Pot

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

After both players traded the first few small pots, McNeil won the first hand with a showdown. Can Kim Hua called from the button, and Calen McNeil checked his option. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The turn brought the {k-Hearts}, and McNeil fired out. Hua called, and thje rive was the {7-Hearts}. This time, McNeil check called a bet, and Hua said "you're good." McNeil showed {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-}{6-} for ace-king high, and it was good enough to put a dent in Hua's short stack.
