Andrew Kelsall Eliminated in 18th Place ($10,184)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Andrew Kelsall - 18th Place.
Andrew Kelsall - 18th Place.

Andrew Kelsall raised from middle position, and Randy Ohel made it three bets from the small blind. Kelsall called off his last few chips.

Kelsall: {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Ohel: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, and Ohel's ace-jack high, amazingly enough, scooped the pot.

Kelsall Survives with a Quarter

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Andrew Kelsall, Stephen Chidwick and Randy Ohel got 44,000 in the pot preflop, enough to put Kelsall all in.

The flop came {q-}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and Ohel bet. Chidwick called. The turn was a {4-Hearts}, and Ohel check-called. He did the same on a {3-Clubs} river.

Chidwick: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Kelsall: {a-}{2-}{8-}{3-}

Kelsall and Chidwick chopped the low with the nuts, while Chidwick grabbed the high with queens up.

Viacheslav Zhukov Eliminated in 19th Place ($8,377)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

We were busy typing up other hands, and missed the bustout of Viacheslav Zhukov. However, we ran over and caught the board: {8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. We talk to Tony Ma, the many who eliminated Zhukov, and he said that he had {a-}{9-}{10-}{j-} in his hand for a winning straight.

With Zhukov's elimination, we are having a full two table redraw.

Eric Judge Eliminated in 20th Place ($8,377)

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Eric Judge
Eric Judge

Eric Judge was all in preflop, and he got two callers from Can Kim Hua and Joe Ford. The flop came {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}, and Ford check called a bet from Hua. The same thing happened on the {2-Hearts} turn, and when the {j-Diamonds} hit the river, Ford fired out. Hua called, and Ford showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{k-Hearts} for the nut low. Hua showed {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for two pair, and we barely caught a glimpse of Judge's cards, but we did see {4-}{5-}{6-} in his hand.

Valouev Crippled

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On a {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop, Jason Rivkin bet into a three opponents from the small blind. Dao Bac, next to act, raised it, and Dmitrii Valouev made it three bets. Won Goag folded on the button, and Rivkin folded as well. Bac made the call. The turn brought a juicy {2-Spades}, completing a possible flush and pairing the board. Bac check-raised, and Valouev reraised. Bac went all in, and Valouev called.

Bac: {q-}{q-}{5-}{8-}
Valouev: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Valouev seemed to stare at his cards in dismay as he turned them over, and walked away from the table after a brick fell on the river, leaving him with less than the big blind.

Maria Ho Eliminated in 21st Place ($8,377)

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Maria Ho
Maria Ho

Maria Ho raised under the gun, and she got calls from Calen McNeil in the small blind, and Joe Ford in the big blind. The flop came down {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}, and it was checked to Ho, who fired out her last 8,000. Both players called, and they checked it down on the {j-Clubs} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Ho tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{2-Spades}{9-Clubs} for a pair of aces, but it was no good, as McNeil showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs} for two pair. Ho ended up being the last woman standing, barely beating out Jen Harman, who was eliminated in 22nd.

Brunson Bounces Harman

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Jennifer Harman
Jennifer Harman

Jennifer Harman raised from middle position, and Todd Brunson made it three bets on the button. Harman called off the last of her very short stack.

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, and Brunson's {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} took the pot with a diamond flush for high and an ace-deuce for the nut low.
