Kings-Up for Benson

Level 14 : 500/2,000, 500 ante

Gary Benson: {x-}{x-} / {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs} / {x-}
Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs} / {x-}

We reached the table on fourth street, where Benson check-called a bet from Friedman. He check-called another on fifth, both players knuckled on sixth, and Benson led out on seventh. Friedman called, then showed the {10-Spades} and a {7-} when Benson tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} for kings-up.

Seiver Over 100K; Players on Dinner Break

Level 14 : 500/2,000, 500 ante
Scott Seiver

Rudolf Zintel: {x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} / {x-}
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

We reached the action on sixth street, where Zintel led out for a bet. Seiver raised, and Zintel tank-called. Zintel check-called a bet on seventh, and Seiver ripped over {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{x-} for an ace-high flush. Zintel shook his head, then showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Spades} for a lesser flush.

"Wow," Seiver said, thoroughly surprised to see the contents of Zintel's hand.

The remaining 28 players are now on a 60-minute dinner break. We'll see you then.

The cards are back in the air here in the Stud Championship, and the players have been moved across to Amazon Blue where every table has an automatic shuffler.

Zintel and Seiver Continue to Battle

Level 15 : 700/2,500, 500 ante

Rudolf Zintel: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Freddie Ellis: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} (FOLD)
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {x-}

Ashton Griffin was late from dinner, yet he still brought it in with the {4-Hearts}. Ellis completed, Seiver and Zintel both called, and Griffin's hand was mucked. All three players checked on fourth street, and on fifth the action checked to Zintel. He bet, and only Seiver called.

The pair checked on sixth, then Seiver folded to a bet on seventh.

While this hand was going down, both Calvin Anderson and Konstantin Puchkov were eliminated with unknown action.

Negreanu Busts Redraw Coming

Level 15 : 700/2,500, 500 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu has been eliminated in 25th place by Frank Kassela, and we are now redrawing to three tables. When we arrived at the table, the hands looked like this:

Negreanu: {j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}
Kassela: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}

On seventh, Negreanu was dealt paint - a queen would've given him a full house - but it was a meaningless {k-}, and Kid Poker was eliminated just short of the redraw.

We will have said redraw for you shortly.

Seiver Trumps Richardson and Leah

Level 15 : 700/2,500, 500 ante

Catching the action on fifth street we found Scott Seiver betting out 5,000 and both John Richardson and Mike Leah calling.

On sixth Seiver again bet with both opponents calling before Richardson would bet seventh as each player's board looked as followed.

Seiver: {X-}{X-} / {6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} / {X-}
Richardson: {X-}{X-} / {Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} / {X-}
Leah: {X-}{X-} / {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} / {X-}

Leah would fold, but Seiver made the call tabling his {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{X-} to best Richardson's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for aces-up.

Mike Sexton: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} / {x-}
Michael Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} / {x-}
Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}

We reached the table on sixth street, where Friedman checked, Sexton bet, and both Mizrachi and Friedman called. The same action occurred on seventh, but before calling, Friedman called Sexton's hand.

"OK, Mike," he sighed. "Show the eight-nine."

Sexton obliged, flipping over {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} to scoop the pot with a straight.

Leah Eliminated; Weiss and Cohen Bust Too

Level 15 : 700/2,500, 500 ante
Mike Leah - Eliminated
Mike Leah - Eliminated

Mike Leah: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{x-} / {x-}
Kenn Wittock: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} (FOLD)
Scott Seiver: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades} / {x-}
Freddie Ellis: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{6-Spades} (FOLD)

We caught the action on fourth street, where Leah was all in for 1,700 (less than a bet). Ellis was the only player to fold. On fifth, Seiver bet out and Wittock folded.

"You have a pair?" Leah asked.

"No," Seiver answered.

"Me neither," Leah said, showing {k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Seiver tabled {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, and the {7-Spades} on the turn gave him an unbeatable hand. Leah received an unknown card on sixth and a meaningless {k-Diamonds} on seventh before exiting.

On adjacent tables, Stephen Weiss and Ben Cohen have also been eliminated.
