Bonomo Sets Up Massey

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

Aaron Massey checked to Justin Bonomo on a board of {2-Spades}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Bonomo tossed out 1,100, and Massey tank-called.

The river brought the {k-Diamonds}, Massey checked again, and Bonomo flipped 3,200 forward. Massey tanked for an extended period of time on this street, then eventually pushed forward enough chips to make the call. Bonomo ripped over {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a flopped set of deuces, and Massey mucked his hand.

Eames Moves In

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

After a raise and two calls preflop, John Eames was in a pot going to the flop. The dealer put out the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Spades} board and action checked to Eames who bet 725. He got one call from the player in the small blind.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and the player checked to Eames who continued with a bet of 1,425. The player called.

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and the player checked a third time to Eames who moved all in for 5,000. The player in the small blind threw his hands up in a frustrated manner and went into the tank before eventually folding.

Eames is back over starting stack after collecting that pot.

Double For Kasella

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante

We didn't see the action but we do know that Frank Kasella was all in for 2,225 with {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. The board read {9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} giving Kasella the second nut flush and it was good enough that his opponents hand was mucked. Kasella is still under starting stack, but with that double he has a little more room to maneuver.

Peters Trying for Another Deep Run

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters already has four deep runs this series. He is hoping to make it five with this event. He recently took a nice little pot when he bet 1,850 into an already juicy pot on the river of a board of {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

His opponent tanked for a long time. He finally folded awarding the pot to Peter which gave him a a stack of 10,700.

Steinberg Bluffs It Off

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Max Steinberg and his {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} had put out a big raise of 6,500 into two players on a board of {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. He was hoping that his opponents would fold so he could get away with his bluff. His first opponent showed resistance however and made the call.

Steinberg flipped his hand over like it was the winner but his opponent did not fall for the trick. His opponent had {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and his pair of jacks beat Steinberg. Steinberg fell down to 3,325.
