Catching the action on sixth we found one player betting 200 before Chris Tryba raised to 400. A third player flatted before the original bettor bumped it up to 600 as both Tryba and the third player smooth-called. On seventh there would be just one bet and two calls as each player's boards read as follows.

Savage Hanging On

Player 1 brought in before Matt Savage completed. Player 2 raised and both called to see fourth street.

Savage checked, as he was then met with a bet and raise from his opponents. He called, the original better called and we saw fifth.

Savage checked once more, as did player 2, before player 1 bet. Savage called before there was another raise, which was called twice.

Player 2 showed a pair and bet, and was called. He followed suit on seventh, and found two callers.

With Savage down to just 600 in chips, he was happy to at least chop half the pot, showing two pair for the high, and moving back up to around 2700 in chips.

Raymer bet, Violete raised, player 1 folded and Raymer called. Another bet from Violete was called, before she check called the final bet on seventh.

We arrived at the table with the action on fourth, as Mike Leah bet and was called by both his opponents.

On fifth, all three checked, before aggression took over on sixth. Player 2 bet, player 1 raised and Leah folded his hand. We stuck around to see player 2 make the call, before calling the bet on seventh.

With the action just passing third, we spotted Daniel Negreanu bet on fourth and get called by David “OBD” Baker, before the same happened on fifth. Both casually checked as seventh was dealt out.

“I check dark,” informed Negreanu, just before the dealer pitched out the cards. Baker looked down at his cards, and checked also, before tabling his remaining three cards. The pair of queens was good enough to take down the pot for the high, as both players missed out on making a low.
