Clinkscales Doubles Opponent

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Rex Clinkscales made it 1,200 to go from the button only to have the big blind ship all in for about 5,100 total. Clinkscales called and found that he was dominated.

Clinkscales: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Clinkscales was forced to ship the chips across the table. The recent WSOP Circuit ring-winner is now sitting on about 45,000 in chips.

Hobson Sitting Pretty

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Greg Hobson has been enjoying these last few levels. He is now up to over 86,000. We witnessed his latest attack and saw him eliminate a player a few moments ago. All the money was in preflop with Hobson holding {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} and his opponent holding {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Hobson's opponent looked like he was going to double after four cards came {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. But the {a-Diamonds} on the river gave Hobson a better two pair and he is sitting pretty with his stack.

Turner Doubles

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Jon Turner had a critical decision on the turn of a board reading {2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} when Turner's opponent put him all in. After tanking for a few minutes, Turner called and revaled the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}, which was ahead but in danger when his opponent showed {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Turner had to fade a lot of outs but was able to breathe easier when the {a-Clubs} came on the river. Turner doubled up and now sits with 45,000.

Jeo Scores Double Knockout

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Scott Baumstein was under the gun and announced an all in for his last roughly 11,000. It folded around to Nate Jeo on the button who flat called. The small blind shipped all in over the top and the big blind folded. Jeo called the small blind's 17,600 total and the three hands were tabled.

Baumstein: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Jeo: {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Small Blind: {J-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The player in the small blind was in the lead but quickly fell behind when Jeo paired his ace on the {2-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river the {5-Clubs} ensuring Jeo would score a double elimination. He's now sitting on about 70,000.

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Xuan Liu raised to 2,700 from the button. Jonathan Duhamel reraised to 5,400 and eventually called Liu's 4-bet all in for her remaining 26,000.

Liu's {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} was ahead of Duhamel's {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} but not for long. The board came {j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} giving Duhamel a set and eliminating Liu.
