Fabien Marguerite Eliminated in 9th Place ($20,709)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Fabien Marguerite - 9th Place
Fabien Marguerite - 9th Place

Mike Mustafa opened for 25,000 under the gun and Fabien Marguerite, who was to his direct left, moved all in for right around 200,000. The button and both blinds folded, and Mustafa snap-called.

Mustafa: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Marguerite: {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}

It was a bad spot for Marguerite and he was in desperate need of some help. The {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop gave him a little as it paired his ten, but he need another or an ace to keep his bracelet hopes alive. The {3-Spades} turn wasn't what he needed, and neither was the {Q-Hearts} river. Mustafa actually improved to a set to send Marguerite to the rail in ninth place for $20,709.

Rex Clinkscales

Keven Stammen raised to 23,000 from under the gun. Rex Clinkscales put his last 97,000 in with {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The big blind folded and Stammen thought for a while before making the call with his {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

The flop came the {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. A flopped full house for Stammen!

Clinkscales was down to little hope. The {a-Diamonds} brought Clinkscales a tiny glimmer of hope with one of the remaining Aces.

Clinkscales hopes ended on the river {10-Clubs} and he was sent packing in 10th pace for $20,709.

Greg Hobson Eliminated in 11th Place ($15,643)

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Greg Hobson
Greg Hobson

Nearly 12 hours ago Greg Hobson led the returning 117 players with the biggest stack. He managed to ride that stack all the way to the final two tables, but his run just came to an end in 11th place.

It happened when Keven Stammen opened for 18,000 from the cutoff and then called when Hobson moved all in from the button for approximately 100,000.

Hobson: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Stammen: {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

"Two outs," Hobson pointed out upon seeing he his pair was dominated. The {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop gave him some runner-runner straight possibilities, but the {K-Clubs} turn quickly dashed those hopes. It was down to a nine for Hobson, but it wasn't in the cards as the {J-Clubs} peeled off.

As the start-of-the-day chip leader Hobson no doubt had dreams of a gold bracelet, but he'll have to settle for a $15,643 consolation prize instead.

Cada Climbing

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Joe Cada made it 18,000 from the button and Ami Alibay raised it right back to 28,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to Cada and he flat called.

The two saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Alibay fired 30,000 which was quickly called by Cada. The turn was the {J-Diamonds} and Alibay bet 50,000. Cada came over the top for 150,000 and Alibay mucked his hand, showing the {8-Spades} in the process.

Cada is now sitting on about 1.03 million while Alibay has fallen to around 430,000.

Sandor Molnar
Sandor Molnar

Sandor Molnar raised to 32,000 under the gun preflop while still stacking chips from a hand he won right before. Joe Cada asked for Molnar's total stack count and then re-raised to 80,000. The others folded and Molnar announced he was all in for 310,000 total. Cada called and the cards were flipped.

Cada: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Molnar: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

It was a flip for Molnar's life and he would not survive as the board ran out {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Sandar Molnar is eliminated in 12th place and will walk away with $15,643.
