Volpe is Ace

Level 13 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Ben Volpe has stormed up the leader board, thanks to a big hand against Thomas Butzhammer. We missed the action, but both committed all their chips in pre-flop, creating a pot of over 120,000 in chips.

Butzhammer: {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Volpe: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} to see Volpe aces hold, as he moves to over 200,000 in chips.

Nassif Eliminated by Chaves

Level 13 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Gabriel Nassif moved all in preflop. Horacio Chaves was debating whether to call or not. He took quite some time. Eventually he counted out the chips to make the call. The two flipped over their cards.

Nassif: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Chaves: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Nassif looked strong to double until the flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{a-Spades}. Nassif stood up from his chair, surely feeling he was going to lose. The turn came the {5-Hearts}. Nassif was down to his last out. The river was the {7-Diamonds} and with that Nassif was gone. Chaves moved up to 140,000.

Spets Lays it Down

Level 13 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

With the flop showing {J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, Chris Moorman threw out a bet, before he was met with a raise from Age Spets. Adam Stone was also in the hand, and raised it up to 31,000 in chips. Moorman folded, before Spets went into the tank for several minutes.

“I don’t think I can fold this hand. Such a monster hand,” said Spets. “Must have the nut-flush?” he questioned. “I think im going to move all in,” he finished with. It took another minute after that, before he just made the call, as the {2-Hearts} fell on the turn.

A check from Spets was enough for Stone, who quickly moved all in. Spets instantly folded, as he drops down to 30,000 in chips.

Tran Gone

Level 13 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

On a board of {j-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs} JC Tran went all in. Louis Bonnecaze made the call.

Tran: {q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Bonnecaze: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Tran was behind but there were still two cards to come and give Tran the win or at least the chop. The turn was no help to Tran with the {3-Hearts}. The river did the deed with the {2-Diamonds}.

Tran exited with no title but still received $5,125 for his efforts.

Rudnik Out-Flopped

Level 13 : 0/0, 1,000 ante

Andrew Rudnik committed his last 48,000 into the pot, and was called by Daniel Johnson, as both players tabled their cards.

Rudnik: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Johnson: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Rudnik was in front heading to the flop, but the board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, to see Johnson take the lead with trip queens, as another player hits the rail.
