Players are Now on a 20-Minute Recess

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Two more levels are in the books here in Event #47: $111,111 One Drop High Rollers No-Limit Hold'em, which means it's time for another 20-minute break. Here's a look at the highlights from the past two hours of play:

No Moore Chips

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Action folded around to Lawrence Greenberg on the button and he raised to 26,000. The small blind folded and then Chris Moore moved all in from the big blind for right around 170,000. Greenberg made the call and the cards were turned up.

Greenberg: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Moore: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop gave Moore a pair of queens, but he'd need either another or an ace to crack Greenberg's kings. The {5-Spades} turn didn't do it and neither did the {9-Hearts} river. Greenberg's cowboys held to send Moore packing just before the second break of the day.

Senti Sends Thuritz to the Rail

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Mikael Thuritz was all in preflop for 210,000 or so holding the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and was up against the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} of 2009 November Niner Jason Senti. Thuritz was in desperate need of some help, specifically an ace, but he would find none as the board ran out a dry {q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROYYYYYYYYYYYY JENNNNNNNNNKINNNNNSSSSSSS

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
David Einhorn (Day 1) - Eliminated
David Einhorn (Day 1) - Eliminated

Bill Perkins raised to 28,000 from early position, David Einhorn moved all in for 290,000 from the hijack seat, and the action folded back to Perkins, who grabbed chips.

"LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!" Perkins yelled as he slammed the chips onto the felt. "JENNNNNNNNNNKINNNNNNNNSSSSS!!!"

After delivering his rendition of this classic YouTube clip, he turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Einhorn was dominated with {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The board rolled out {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Einhorn was eliminated. The two good friends embraced after the hand, then Einhorn hit the rail.

Klodnicki with Eights

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Chris Klodnicki raised to 27,000 from middle position, and Jason Somerville called from the big blind to see the flop come down {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}. After Somerville checked, Klodnicki bet 30,000. Somerville made the call.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}, and Somerville led for 45,000. Klodnicki made the call. Then, both players checked the {J-Spades} river card.

"King high," announced Somerville, to which Klodnicki responded by turning over the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Somerville mucked, and Klodnicki won the pot.

Wafflecrushing

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Matt Glantz raised to 26,000 from the hijack seat, Shaun Deeb three-bet to 71,000 in the cutoff, and Fabrice Touil cold-called in the big blind. Glantz folded, the dealer fanned {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}, and Touil checked. Deeb fired out 105,000, Touil raised to 295,000, and Deeb moved all in for 692,000.

Touil asked for the dealer to pull the bets in, which took a little bit of time, and after this was finished, Touil called. The Frenchman showed {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a set of sevens, annoying Deeb who showed {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Deeb was not annoyed by the turn card though, because the {j-Hearts} gave him a straight. The {4-Diamonds} completed the board, and Deeb doubled to 1.6 million chips.

Touil was left with just 76,000, and busted a few hands later to Steven Silverman. The chips went in preflop blind vs. blind, Silverman had {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, Touil had {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, and Silverman held.

Soon after that, Deeb eliminated Lee Markholt. Markholt open-jammed for around 140,000 from under the gun, and Deeb snap-called in the big blind with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Markholt was crushed with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, and the {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop didn't improve his hand.

The {8-Clubs} fell on the turn, giving Markholt a set, but Deeb made a four flush when the {j-Clubs} completed the board.

Deeb now sits with 1.75 million chips.

Robl's Heater Continues; Busts Elias

Level 14 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We're not sure of how the action went down, but we do know that Andrew Robl and Darren Elias just clashed in a big pot that resulted in the elimination of the latter.

Elias got his chips in with the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} only to run into the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} of Robl. The board ran out a clean {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Elias was sent to the rail. The table then went on to remark that Robl could not be stopped as he has built his stack up to 1.75 million here on Day 2.
