Kagawa and Bonomo Bust

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Justin Bonomo and Brandon Steven were heads up on a flop of {6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Bonomo led out for 35,000, Steven raised to 77,000, and Bonomo moved all in. Steven called.

Bonomo: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Steven: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}

The turn and river came {j-Clubs}, {4-Clubs} respectively, and Bonomo was eliminated.

Over at an adjacent table, recent bracelet winner Steve Gross knocked out Masa Kagawa. Gross made quads with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} on a board of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}, besting Kagawa's turned flush with {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Kurganov vs. Lykov

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Russia's Maxim Lykov opened for 16,000 from middle position and Igor Kurganov three-bet to 38,000 from the hijack. Action folded back around to Lykov, he made the call and the flop came down {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Lykov proceeded to check-call a bet of 40,000 and then both players checked the {5-Diamonds} turn. Lykov then led out for 66,000 on the {6-Clubs} river and Kurganov made a quick call.

Lykov sheepishly showed the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and Kurganov tabled the {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks and the win.

Mercier's "One Time"

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Jason Mercier was all in and at risk preflop with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, and he was racing against Tobias Reinkemeier's {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The flop fell {j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, giving Mercier a leading pair of jacks, and a spectator leaned over the railing of the blue section and yelled, "Yeah! One time!"

The turn and river came {6-Diamonds}, {6-Hearts} respectively, and Mercier doubled.

After the hand, Reinkemeier leaned back in his chair to get a look at the random gentlemen who had just anti-sweated him.

"You used your one time for him?" the German asked.

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Cary Katz - Eliminated
Cary Katz - Eliminated

When we arrived at the table, Cary Katz was gathering his things to leave with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} sitting in front of him. The pot was being pushed to Martin Jacobson, who had {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, and there was a jack on the newly-mucked flop.

Katz hit the rail, while Jacobson now has over half of a million chips.
