Phil Laak Eliminated in 19th Place ($173,723)

Level 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Phil Laak - 19th Place
Phil Laak - 19th Place

Phil Laak raised to 720,000 on the button, leaving around 350,000 behind, and Brandon Steven three-bet to around 1.4 million from the small blind. The big blind released, and Laak called all-in.

Laak: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Steven: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, giving both players the same Broadway draw, but Laak was unable to chop or double when the turn and river came {8-Diamonds}, {5-Clubs} respectively.

Steven now has around 4.5 million chips.

Shaun Deeb Eliminated in 20th Place ($173,723)

Level 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Shaun Deeb - 20th Place
Shaun Deeb - 20th Place

Chris Klodnicki raised to 200,000 from the hijack seat, Shaun Deeb three-bet shoved for around 800,000 from the small blind, and Klodnicki called.

Klodnicki: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Deeb: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Klodnicki took a commanding lead in the race as the flop fell {k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Clubs}, and he held as the turn ({a-Diamonds}) and river ({a-Hearts}) both brought aces. Deeb was eliminated in 20th place, earning $173,723, while Klodnicki is up to around five million chips.

Jason Koon Eliminated in 21st Place ($173,723)

Level 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Jason Koon - 20th Place
Jason Koon - 20th Place

Jason Koon moved all in for roughly 1.1 million only to have Bill Perkins move all in over the top. The rest of the field folded and Koon discovered the bad news.

Koon: {a-Diamonds}{J-}
Perkins: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Per usual, Perkins shouted his favorite saying, "Leeeeeeeroyyyyy Jenkins." The {6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop was dry as can be for Koon, who was left looking for a jack. The {a-Spades} turn paired both players, but Perkins' kicker had him well out in front. Koon needed a jack on the river to stay alive, but he was left wanting as the useless {2-Clubs} peeled off.

Koon became the first player eliminated from the feature table and exited to a nice round of applause.

Fardad: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Ausmus: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Ausmus held as the board came {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, and Fardad was eliminated. Ausmus chipped up to 2.95 million chips.

Klod Takes from Finger

Level 23 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

The {5-Hearts} completed the board, Klodnicki led out for 600,000, and Finger called. Klodnicki turned over {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flopped straight, winning the pot.
