Tran Doubles Through Pateychuk

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Picking up the action after a {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, Joseph Morneau bet 60,000 from the small blind and Andrey Pateychuk raised to 160,000 from late position. From the next seat over, Nghi "Henry" Tran shoved for 356,000. Morneau folded, Pateychuk called, and the hands were revealed.

Pateychuk: {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Tran: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}

The {Q-Hearts} turn was no help to Tran, but the {7-Hearts} river gave him two pair to double up.

Wilson Crippled

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Joe Wilson got it all in preflop against Cuong Van Nguyen.

Van Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Wilson: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Wilson had his opponent dominated, but the flop of {7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} gave Van Nguyen an open-ended straight draw. The turn was a {q-Spades}, closing down a few of Van Nguyen's outs.

"Jack or six," Van Nguyen said. "Jack or six."

Sure enough, the river was a {6-Diamonds} completing Van Nguyen's straight.

Wilson's down to just a few big blinds now.

Joseph Wilson made a good fold.
Joseph Wilson made a good fold.

Chad Mcclintock raised a 53,000 bet to 130,000 on a flop of {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, and saw Joe Wilson cold-call behind him. The original bettor folded, and Mcclintock and Wilson saw a {2-Clubs} turn. Mcclintock bet 200,000 this time, and WIlson beat him into the pot after the bet was announced. The river was a {j-Hearts}, and Mcclintock immediately moved all in. Wilson had him barely covered, and he went into the tank for a few minutes. Finally, a player called the clock.

Mcclintock offered to show his hand, and after about 30 seconds, Wilson announced a fold. Mcclintock turned over {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}, and Wilson showed {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.
