Chris Tryba Eliminated in 19th Place ($8,559)

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Chris Tryba
Chris Tryba

Chris Tryba got the last of his chips in against Adam Coats and would be eliminated when his {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} could not best the hand Coats held {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} when the board would run out {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades} to give Coats a king high straight. They are now re-drawing the final two tables.

O'Dell Doubles

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Frankie O'Dell got it all in on the turn against Calen McNeil.

O'Dell: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}
McNeil: {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board read {6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Clubs}, and O'Dell needed to catch something on the river. He did just that when the {a-Spades} fell.

Luneau Cuts O'Dell's Stack in Half

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Alex Luneau is the chip leader and he continues to add chips to his stack. He most recently took a chunk of change from Frankie O'Dell when he bet the flop and turn on a {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board and checked behind O'Dell on the {8-Spades} river. His {A-}{9-}{8-}{2-} was good enough to get O'Dell to muck his hand and scoop the pot.

Phaphon Keeps Climbing

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Joe Phahon limped along with two other players, and he got it all in with Kal Raichura on a {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Raichura: {5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-}{9-}
Phaphon: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Phaphon had Raichura smashed with a better low and the nut flush for high.

The turn brought a {9-Clubs}, giving Raichura outs. A {10-Spades} river was no help though, and Phaphon scooped.

"You didn't want to raise with that hand coming in?" asked Raichura, who had been in the blinds.

"Nope," Phaphon said with a smile.

Phaphon Triples

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Joe Phaphon put in his last 23,000, and Lance Dodd raised. Action folded to Kal Raichura, who called. Dodd and Raichura checked down the {4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts} runout.

Dodd showed {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for two pair to collect the small side pot, but the main pot went to Phaphon's {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}, good for a straight.
