Final 12 Redraw

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

There was a little bit of drama at the redraw because most of the players were redrawn in the same seats, as is the luck of the draw. Jack Effel was called in and he ruled that a second redraw take place, and this is the result.

Pratyush Buddiga Eliminated in 13th Place ($19,547)

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Pratyush Buddiga
Pratyush Buddiga

It wasn't a good day for Pratyush Buddiga. A little over an hour ago he began play third in chips out of 15 players, and now he finds himself on the rail in 13th place.

Buddiga lost some big hands to drop to the short stack, and he shoved his last 105,000 under the gun. Davidi Kitai was in the big blind and asked for a count before making the call.

Buddiga: {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Kitai: {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Buddiga had some kicker issues, but the {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop gave him some hope with a flush draw. The {2-Spades} turn put out some chop opportunities, but neither the flush nor chop would come in after the {7-Spades} blanked on the river.

Buddiga's exit in 13th place means we are down to the final 12 players, which brings about the two-table redraw. We'll have the new seating assignments for you shortly.

Geshkenbein Finds a Flush

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

A short-stacked Vladimir Geshkenbein shoved all in for 136,000 from the cutoff and Zachary Korik called from the small blind.

Geshkenbein: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Korik: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Geshkenbein was dominated, and he began to get out of his chair. The {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} flop gave him pause as he picked up a flush draw, and much to the delight of his supporters on the rail, he completed it when the dealer burned and turned the {9-Spades}.

Geshkenbein was all smile as he sat back down, especially after he was pushed the pot once the {7-Spades} was run out on the river.

Artem Metalidi Eliminated in 14th Place ($19,547)

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Artem Metalidi

Bill Burford had raised from the cutoff and faced a three-bet to 47,000 from Artem Metalidi on the button. Both blinds folded and Burford reraised to 147,000.

Metalidi went deep into the tank for almost two minutes before emerging with an all-in bet of around 600,000.

"I hope this isn't a big show with aces, I call," said Burford.

Burford: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

Metalidi: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

Metalidi looked like a man who knew his tournament was over. It basically was on the {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} flop and was 100% over when the {3-Spades} landed on the turn. The inconsequential {5-Hearts} completed the board, the hand and Metalidi was gone in 14th place.

Darner Takes on Hellmuth and Andrade

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth attempted to raise to 30,000 from under the gun, but one of his T5,000 chips fell short and he was instructed that his raise would only be 25,000. Gabriel Andrade called from the next seat across and Mark Darner called from the small blind.

All three players checked the arrival of the {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{J-Hearts} flop, leading the dealer to place the {9-Diamonds} onto the turn. Garner greeted it with a 51,000 bet, which folded out Hellmuth, but Andrade stuck around and called.

Darner led again on the {7-Hearts} river, making it 85,000 to play. Andrade wasn't prepared to pay that much and he sent his cards into the muck.

Burford Cold Four-Bets

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Artem Metalidi raised to 21,000 from under the gun and once Davidi Kitai folded, Pratyush Buddiga three-bet to 50,000. The small blind folded but Bill Burford made a cold four-bet to 200,000.

Metalidi folded, as did Buddiga albeit after a brief pause.
