Ramdin Stays Alive

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Victor Ramdin opened the betting with a raise from late position. The player on the button and the player in the big blind both called. The player in the big blind drew three, and Ramdin and the player in the button drew two.

The player in the big blind checked, Randin bet, the player on the button raised, big blind folded, and Ramdin three-bet all in. His opponent on the button called and stood pat and Ramdin swapped one.

Thinking the hand was complete, the player in the button tabled his hand showing {a-}{8-}. There was however, one more draw. The player in the button checked pat and Ramdin drew one card. It was a {10-} and it was good enough to take down the pot.

A Couple Hands While We Were Dark

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante

Eli Elezra raised from the button and was called by the player in the big blind. The player in the big blind drew one and Elezra drew two. His opponent check-called a bet and drew one again. Elezra drew two. Once again his opponent check-called a bet and drew one, Elezra stood pat. Elezra won the pot after his opponent check-folded.

A player under the gun opened the betting with a raise, Mike Leah three-bet , and the UTG player called.
The UTG player slid two cards in the middle for exchange and Leah swapped just one. The UTG player then check-called a bet from Leah, tossed one in the middle and Leah asked for one as well. The UTG player check-raised Leah, who then three-bet and after his opponent called and stood pat, Leah swapped one. The UTG player lead out with a bet this time and Leah decided to let it go.

We spotted Andrey Zaichenko, who just recently landed in the United States, Larry Wright, who was at the final table of the $10,000 Single Draw Championship earlier today, and Todd Brunson, who came to sweat his 25K Fantasy League horse Daniel Negreanu.

Kid Poker himself also hopped in this event after finishing runner-up to Paul Volpe in the Single Draw Championship.

Other new faces we spotted include Ami Barer, Andrew Brown, Greg Mueller, Layne Flack, Jeremy Ausmus, Dan Smith, Jason Mercier, Greg Mueller, Matt Waxman, and Victor Ramdin.

Among the eliminations while we were dark were Thomas Muehlocker, Julie Schneider, Owais Ahmed, Michael Benvenuti, Scott Abrams, and David Williams.
