DPeters Flips Out

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
David Peters (Day 1) - Eliminated
David Peters (Day 1) - Eliminated

David Peters was all in and at risk preflop holding {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} as he was racing agains the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} of Joseph Cheong.

Cheong flopped a set of nines when the dealer fanned {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Peters started to get up, but the {5-Clubs} on the turn gave him four outs to chop the pot.

The {10-Diamonds} on the river was a brick, however, and Peters hit the rail.

"Wow, What a Sweat"

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Todd Terry opened for 10,000 from the hijack only to have Chuck Pacheco three-bet all in from the button. The blinds folded and Terry, who had the smaller stack, called off for 73,000.

Pacheco: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Terry: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Terry had the better ace, but the {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop made things interesting as Pacheco picked up a flush draw. Terry sighed, but his frustration was for nothing as neither the {4-Hearts} turn nor {6-Hearts} river gave Pacheco the flush.

"Wow, what a sweat," Terry said as he counted down his stack.
