Lindgren Doubles

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Erick Lindgren was all in and at risk preflop for 148,500 holding {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}, and he was in great shape to double through Matt Waxman's {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

The kings held up as the board came {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and the 2013 $5,000 buy-in six-max champion doubled up to 301,000 chips. Waxman slipped to 142,500.

Yong and Kottler Bust

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Wai Kin Yong - Eliminated
Wai Kin Yong - Eliminated

Wai Kin Yong led out for 18,000 on a board of {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs}, and Hiren "Sunny" Patel set him all in for around 76,000. Yong called.

Yong: {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Patel: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The {3-Spades} bricked off on the river, and Yong was eliminated.

At the neighboring table, Jeremy Kottler was all in and at risk preflop with {a-}{k-} against the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} of Dario Sammartino. The Italian's aces held as the board came {3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}, and Kottler hit the rail.

Greg Merson Bubbles the $10,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Championship

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Greg Merson
Greg Merson

Leonid Markin opened to 12,000 under the gun and right next to him Greg Merson shoved all in for about 80,000 in chips. Scott Clements in the small blind shoved all in over the top and big blind Lee Markholt folded. Markin followed Markholt's example and folded his {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Merson and Clements tabled their cards.

Merson: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Clements: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

While the players jokingly negotiated a true chop, the dealer got underway with the community cards. The {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} on the flop was still safe for Merson who was at risk, but the {K-Spades} on the turn spelled doom for him. The {5-Spades} on the river was a blank and the 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event champion made his exit as the last player without some extra money.

The remaining 30 players are all guaranteed $17,793.

Cada's Turn to Double

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Joe Cada (Previous event) doubles
Joe Cada (Previous event) doubles

Hiren Patel raised to 9,000 in middle position, Joe Cada three-bet to 20,000 on the button, and Patel called. Both players checked on the flop ({8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}), and Patel led out for 32,000 after the turn brought the {5-Diamonds}. Cada called.

The river was the {2-Spades}, Patel moved all in for effectively 79,000 and Cada quickly called. Patel showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for just a pair of eights, and Cada doubled through with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for a flush.

Jacobson Doubles

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Martin Jacobson moved all in for 61,000 from under the gun and Matt Waxman called in the cutoff. The rest of the action folded.

Jacobson and Waxman waited for the other tables to finish, then opened their hands.

Jacobson: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Waxman: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Jacobson flopped a pair of kings when the dealer fanned {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and improved to trip kings on the turn ({k-Clubs}). The {a-Clubs} bricked off on the river, and Jacobson doubled through.
