Garcia Doubles Through Conley Then Busts to Him

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jay Conley opened for 13,000 and was met by an all-in three-bet to 48,000 from Jose Garcia. Action folded back to Conley and he made the call.

Conley: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Garcia: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Garcia had the better ace, and he scored the double after the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Unfortunately for him, those chips would all find their way to Conley a few hands later.

That is when, on a board reading {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}, Garcia shipped and Conley called. The former had the {a-Spades}{j-} for top pair with top kicker, but it was no good as Conley held the {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for two pair. The {10-Clubs} river improved Conley to a full house, and Garcia was bounced in 34th place for $12,847.

Busquet Doubles Through Massey

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Olivier Busquet
Olivier Busquet

From under the gun, Olivier Busquet moved all in for 68,000. Aaron Massey made the call on the button, and everyone else folded. Busquet tabled the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, and that meant bad news for Massey holding the {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

After a board of {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}, Busquet doubled up.

Madsen Busts Rampone

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

From early position, Jeff Madsen raised to 13,000. Action folded to Nick Rampone on the button, and he reraised all in for 129,000. Action moved back to Madsen, and he called.

Madsen had Rampone dominated with the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} to Rampone's {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. The board ran out {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, and Rampone was eliminated.

Taylor Doubles Through Madsen

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to James Taylor in the cutoff seat, and he raised to 19,000. Jeff Madsen took some time in the small blind, and then reraised all in. Jim Collopy folded from the big blind, and then Taylor went into the tank. Eventually, Taylor made the call with the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and that was ahead of Madsen's {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{A-Clubs}, and Taylor doubled up.

"It Keeps Getting Better"

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Jay Conley opened for 13,000 from the hijack and Jose Garcia called him from the cutoff. Kirill Rabtsov then three-bet all in from the button for 99,000, Conley folded, and Garcia thought for a bit before dropping in a call.

Rabtsov: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Garcia: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Garcia was in a dominating position, but not after the flop came down {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Not only did Rabtsov pair his king, he picked up a flush draw to boot. That flush came in when the dealer burned and turned the {4-Diamonds}, which left Garcia drawing dead. The meaningless {9-Diamonds} was put out on the river for good measure and Rabtsov was pushed the double.

Busquet Doubles

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Jim Collopy in the small blind, and he raised all in. Olivier Busquet called all in from the big blind for 61,000, putting himself at risk with the {K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Collopy had the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Busquet doubled up, leaving Collopy with 54,000 in chips.

Kindred Spirits

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Dan O'Brien raised from the cutoff only to have Justin Kindred three-bet all in for 86,000 from the button. The blinds both folded and O'Brien gave it considerable thought before making the call, which he likely regretted upon seeing the cards.

Kindred: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
O'Brien: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

O'Brien was dominated, and he paid the price as Kindred doubled through after the board ran out {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.
