Wright Takes Out Volpe

Level 3 : 50/75, 25 ante
Paul Volpe - Eliminated
Paul Volpe - Eliminated

As recapped to us by Larry Wright, action folded to him in the small blind and he raised. $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball champion Paul Volpe reraised from the big blind, Wright reraised with a covering stack and Volpe called all in.

Wright stood pat, Volpe drew one and Wright tabled {10-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Volpe was drawing to a {9-}{8-}{7-}, but caught a {J-} to secure the pot for Wright.

Don't Miss Multi-Table Madness On WSOP.com

Level 10 : 400/800, 200 ante

Inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino isn't the only place for you to satisfy your World Series of Poker appetite. WSOP.com is the leading online poker site in Nevada and has plenty of action running around the clock, seven days a week.

All summer long, a special promotion labeled Multi-Table Madness will be running from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. PST each night. The promotion will select one random hand at a random cash-game table during those hours that will award every player dealt into the hand with a cash bonus up to $100.

What's more is that WSOP.com will be sweetening the prize by giving players as much as $100 more for each additional table they're playing at during the time of the drawing. That means if you're playing in four different cash games when your table is selected, you could walk away with up to $400 in bonus money.

Danzer and Wright Enjoying Some Laughs

Level 2 : 25/50, 15 ante

Larry Wright raised to 200 in the cutoff and George Danzer called from the big blind. Both players proceeded to draw one card and Danzer started putting together a few green T25 chips before (supposedly) looking at his card.

"You read me so well, Larry, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do," said a smiling Danzer as he bet 300. Wright laughed and shook his head, flashing a {Q-} before folding.
