The blinds put in the extra and five players saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Checked to Dempsey, he bet 7,600 and meeting no resistance he picked up a decent pot.

The chips went in preflop, Hass in the cutoff and Cheong in on the button. By the river the board read {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Cheong handed over a large chunk of his stack.

Tamara Tibbles raised to 3,800 from early postion and four players called behind, including Layne Flack, Ryan Olisar and Glenn Lafaye. The flop came {10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Tibbles led for 10,000 and only Flack made the call. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and both players checked. The river was the {4-Clubs} and Tibbles checked.

Flack threw out a bet of 14,400 and Tibbles made the quick call. Flack showed {k-}{q-} for the busted straight draw. Tibbles tabled {k-}{j-} for top pair.
